A freestanding fire works especially well for rooms with high cathedral ceilings and large glass windows. Easy and inexpensive to install, the Freestander has a contemporary, stylish simplicity. The exposed flue increases the heat radiated into the room and enhances the efficiency of the fireplace. Built to conform to wood-burning specifications, it can also be supplied with a choice of log, pebble or coal gas burners. Brickwork or hebel bricks may also be used to create a freestanding fireplace surround.
